Position: Project Manager (IT)

We are business service provider with rapid growth and expansion in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical delivery from a Systems Integrator or IT Consultancy where they have worked with both external and internal clients from a wide variety of industry backgrounds. They must have excellent customer facing skills. This role can be located in Hong Kong and is an exciting growth opportunity to join a multi-national working environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements such as Business Requirements Document and Interface designs)
  • Utilize your experience in using organization-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project in-charge.
  • Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
  • Serves as the conduit between internal and external customers; and the software development team through which requirements flow.
  • Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs; assure the solution recommended is commercial competitive, betterment of productivity and efficiency of the business.
  • Be the liaison between the business users, technology teams and support teams.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree above; preferably in Information Technology or business management discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ work experience from a reputable organization or business consulting firms
  • Experience with business solution preferred;
  • hands-on in collect application, database, and requirements from users and stakeholders
  • Hand-on in creating and maintaining a business requirements document and Non-Functional Requirements
  • Experience in facilitating meetings in order to solicit feedback from end users and stakeholders including client interviewing, requirements gathering, solution review, process improvement, and training
  • Able to handle ambiguity and changing environments
  • Strong relationships and collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand,
  • Service and User-focused attitude with excellent analytical skills.
    Effective team leader & able to identify and resolve problems.
    Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision and handle potentially complex issues.
  • Frequent travel to overseas countries may involve.
